Roberta Chopp Rothschild, Vice President of the Marketing and Communications Search and Business Consulting Practice, is a public relations, marketing, writing and communications professional with more than twenty-five years of experience in the field. She has in-depth experience in writing about and promoting a wide range of industries, from advertising (including medical and pharmaceutical advertising) to the financial services industry.
In addition to generating national (e.g., The Today Show, New York Times, Wall Street Journal) and local publicity, Ms. Rothschild has developed and implemented successful image- and sales-building programs for clients large and small, encompassing both consumer and business-to-business orientations. The clients cover a wide range of industries, including dotcoms, market research, multicultural and cause-related marketing, bankruptcy management, financial services, medical and pharmaceutical advertising, household products, antiques, fashion, food, fibers, baby care, aluminum siding and elevator consulting.
She has also arranged client-speaking platforms and developed media-generating special events and programs. Clients have included Procter & Gamble, Chesebrough-Ponds, Eastman Chemical Products, Merrill Lynch and Black & Decker, as well as companies that are not yet household names. Through both strategic and tactical marketing campaigns, she pursues the dual goals of converting target audiences to customers, and branding products or services to make them stand out from the competition.
Prior to joining Zealy Stewart, she served as the principal for RCR Communications and a senior vice president for Galli Associates PR and Jacobson Altman PR. She was also an account supervisor for Rowland Worldwide, a major public relations agency in New York. She has provided clients with these and other sales and marketing materials as well as creative strategies for using them.
