Dory Teresko
Dory Teresko, Co-Director of Research Services, has been in the field for more than 25 years. Before joining Zealy Stewart, she worked for two executive search firms, Heidrick & Struggles and Bowden & Company. She has recruited for both large and small companies across numerous industries and functional levels. Teresko combines recruiting and research experience with executive coaching, resume writing and assessment to better serve both the organization and the individual.
Teresko was also the founder and president of SearchWorks, which provided executive recruiting services as well as customized career counseling, executive coaching and job search guidance to all levels of clients in career transition in all industries. Dory assisted individual clients in market analysis, professional and personal life issues, job search methodology, resume development, interview techniques, self-marketing strategies and effective negotiation techniques. She also provided organizations such as Ernst & Young, BF Goodrich, American Greetings and Bell & Howell with counsel, strategic planning, and marketing recommendations and implementations.
Prior to starting SearchWorks, Dory was Vice President, Executive Services at Ratliff, Taylor & Lekan, a global career management firm offering services in corporate outplacement, organizational development and executive coaching services.
Educational credentials include a B.A. in Liberal Arts with a major in Psychology from Cleveland State University. Dory is also certified in numerous assessments including SHL (OPQ, MQ, EQ), The Birkman Method and Myers Briggs.
