Carther Harris
Carther Harris, Vice President of Technology and Telecommunications Search Practice, has been developing and nurturing hi-tech business initiatives for more than 20 years, whether recruiting and staffing outstanding teams for specific tasks and projects or identifying and spearheading broad-scale new business opportunities. He has worked for Fortune 50 companies, AT&T, Bell Atlantic, Philip Morris and Lucent Technologies.
Before joining Zealy Stewart, Carther honed his skills in a series of senior management positions. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Business Development for ADI Performance, an Atlanta-based corporate training firm. While there, he initiated and implemented programs to develop business and increase market share. Previously, Carther served as Senior Director of Business Development for Clayton B Witt Associates, a national recruitment and human resources solutions firm specializing in the telecommunications and high-technology industries.
Prior to joining Clayton B Witt Associates, Carther held several managerial positions with Bell of Pennsylvania, Bell Atlantic and Lucent Technologies, where he worked on Human Resources and staffing activities for more than 10 years. He has successfully led and managed teams in Reengineering, Operations, Project Management, Market Development, Human Resources and Sales. Carther coordinated a Lucent/U S WEST Telecommunications team responsible for the implementation of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympics Telecommunications network. In addition, he led initiatives for installing the 610 area code and the inaugural nationwide telecommunications collocation installations for Bell Atlantic.
Carther has a BA degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, and is also a University of Pennsylvania Trustee nominee. He serves on the Denver YMCA Board of Advisors, the National Association of African American HR Professionals (NAAAHR) and the National Black MBA Association, Denver Chapter.
